ICT Ministry Partners With Girls ln Stem Trust To Boost Digital Literacy

The Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services Hon T. A. Mavetera signed an MOU with Girls in Stem Trust represented by its Founder and Executive Trust Ms Victoria Nxumalo on the 4th of April 2025. The MOU seeks to deepen the relationship between the Ministry and Girls in Stem Trust through enhanced collaboration in areas such as organizingthe World Robot Olympiad program, collaboration and support in training in basic and advanced technical skills such as programming, AI, robotics and Engineering for students and teachers as well as support in stem entrepreneurship programs and startups. Partnerships between the government and the private sector are the panacea for creating a new generation of digitally literate entrepreneurs who can ensure that Zimbabwe’s foray into the 4IR is accelerated
